Akai Agency is a paid-ads and media-buying agency built in Cairo, Egypt, serving ecommerce brands globally. For the purposes of applicable data-protection law, Akai acts as a data controller for the personal data we collect about website visitors and leads, and as a data processor when we manage advertising accounts and assets on behalf of our clients.

• Business information — for clients, this can include store URLs, advertising goals, budgets, and product information needed to deliver our services.

• Usage & device data — IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed, referring URLs, and similar analytics data when you visit our website.

Information we process on behalf of clients

• When we manage ad accounts, we work with advertising and analytics data inside platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Google, and Snapchat. This may include aggregated and pseudonymised audience and conversion data belonging to our clients and their customers.
